Manic Focus Blasts Us Into The Future with Wakaan

Manic Focus is blessing us all this Friday with his fresh “Future Flux” EP. The project features collaborations with AHEE and K+Lab which adds a lovely dose of chaos into the mix. One of the featured tracks dropped just last month, leaving loyal fans itching for more. While Manic Focus is better known for his chill, downtempo wubs, this EP explores a whole new world inside his mind and we are absolutely loving it.
“Future Flux is my journey through the heavier side of my mind, and my optimism for mankind’s ability to change and grow in a positive way through difficult times. I think it’s important to head into the future with optimism, armed with knowledge, balance, and the ability to let go and rage through the moments that hinder our growth as individuals. I had a blast creating these tunes, and playing them live for my fans has been an amazing experience.” – Manic Focus
The project kicks off with the spacey, chill Ahee collaboration, “Bonkers,” which really sets us up for the journey this EP takes us on. After that, we dive straight into the absolute heater that released last month “Back From The Future.” Manic Focus says this EP was an exploration through the heavier side of his mind and you can feel it through that hard-hitting bass throughout the project. The EP closes out magically with textural wubs with that melodic voice saying to “just let it go.” This EP is a beautiful collection of textural synths and heavy bass-lines presented in true Wakaan fashion.
This one is an absolute must-listen! Check it out at the link down below and be sure to go show Manic Focus some love.
